| Heather's New Recipe for March 2012 | |
I was completely captivated by March's EveryDay with Rachael Ray's "Somewhere Over The Salsa" by Tracey Seaman. The Photography by Kenji Toma beckoned me to return to pages 92-95 to put the ingredients on my grocery list for a few weeks. March was unseasonably warm so making huge bowls of colorful salsa made sense even if my longing for summer was unreasonable. It may sound crazy but today I'm mourning the loss of this perfection because I woke up to snow and brown magnolias. I'm really trying not to be heartbroken by the skeletons of my favorite spring flower. Oh well... life must go on and I'm seriously thinking about making these fruity color coordinated salsas again soon to pick up our spirits! Read more...
