Day Five |
Well I’m glad that we are all on task by scanning and inking our drawings. Again I know this is the most tedious part of the process but once it is finished the rest just flies.
One thing I want you to think about, especially over your weekend, is an idea for an experimental comic. You can use photographs of each other, toys, clay, internet sprites or anything else you can think of. My digital camera will be available for the photos. Then we can add speech balloons and an interesting story. It’s a lot of fun! Be organized by setting the stuff you need aside, so you remember to bring it in.
For Friday, July 11th Agenda
1. Finish inking and add color!
2. Shading and effects.
3. Speech bubbles.
Above Right: is a Bolt City comic called Copper about a boy and his dog. Click on it to see/read it all. To see more check out boltcity.com. I love the overall feel of this comic...let me know what you think!
Oh...and I put our drawing on so people can see the process!
