Welcome to Ultimate Web Comics 2008: SESSION II! I hope you’ve enjoyed your summer thus far and look forward to each of your web comics with much anticipation. I can’t wait to release your talent on the world! On Today’s Agenda: Monday, July 21th (Day One!) 1. Workshop Rules 2. Introduction 3. Read/discuss “Brief History” article by T. Campbell from the book “A History of Webcomics”. 4. Presentation of some neat comics. 5. Explore past comic from 2006 and 2007. 6. Blog activity: find a web comic, post the link, and tell us why you like it. Check your classmate’s comments and respond. 7. Hopefully we learn what makes a good comic today! |
